Voting is not just a right—it’s a responsibility that ensures every member has a say in decisions that affect our work, our benefits, and our future.
Voting is a right reserved for dues-paying members of AFSCME Local 258 in good standing. Being a member in good standing means your dues are current, and you actively support the union’s mission.

Attend a meeting/event, join a committee, consider becoming a steward, and eventually run for an elected position. Leadership is a journey, and we’re here to provide training, support, and mentorship every step of the way.
Together, we will continue to create solutions, celebrate victories, and build a future that reflects the incredible contributions of EGUSD’s classified employees. Join us at the next meeting. Let’s make change happen—together.
